About Makato

Makato loves fast pace, active training, where athletes are always engaged and working hard. When not coaching, he enjoys watching and playing volleyball, and playing with his daughter.

About Grant
Grant is a committed Duck coach, who wants to grow the game and share his passion for volleyball with his athletes. He has coached competitive swimming and diving for 5 years in Ottawa and was a National Level competitive swimmer in amateur and masters divisions. Grant has a large amount of experience coaching elite athletes, which transfers to his training environment.

Henry has been playing volleyball since high school, where he first started loving it. After high school, he continued playing in various adult leagues as a setter in BC and Alberta. He is also very active as a Level 2 Volleyball Official for Volleyball BC for over 30 years. Henry is passionate about volleyball, and believes there is no better sport to have players play as a team and support each other. One of his goals is to see athletes give back to their community as coaches or assistants, and to continue growing and sharing their passion for the game.
